This is a collection of Veterinary and Emergency Veterinary facilities in the Portland area, with our personal comments on their services.  This page also serves as an emergency reference for us when needed.

• Valley Veterinary Clinic

  Great prices and wonderful friendly folks.  Spay, neuter, debark, all prices are very reasonable, well worth the effort even if out of the way.  Great emergency care for their standing customers.

  Very nice folks eager to help and very supportive of breeders.  Dr Tshi is very detailed in his explanations and examinations.  He really cares about giving good breeders the information they need and totally accepts that sometimes breeders know more about their breed than he does.  Some prices on the high side.

  I really like Michele.  Great for the quick stop.  Prices can be high for some items, but cheaper for others, same across the board in most Companion clinics.

  Never tried these guys, but they are in a good location and I have heard good things.  Companion prices tend to be the same across the board.

  Very nice folks with late might hours.  This is definitely the first try with Tualatin the second.  The prices are reasonable (for emergency care) and the staff is very supportive.

  Prices are average for emergency services, not as high as Dove Lewis.  Wonderful care.  They did a great job on a c-section and seem to be very supportive of breeders.

  VERY expensive for not much care and not the best service.  Find it easer to put a critical patient down then to give them the care that they deserve.  I don't recommend them, but I guess in a pinch they would be better than nothing.
